2008 GPPLL Season

A variety of photos from the 2008 GPPLL Season.

Opening day at the new Pierce Field -- a moment in the history as the inaugural pitch is thrown.	The first pitch thrown at the new Pierce field by the visiting team - Giants.	Aggressive base running by the Durham Bulls in an exciting "A" game.	A well hit ball by the Phillies.
A close play at 2nd base but the runner is safe.	The ball is delivered by the Dodgers as the Phillies batter awaits the pitch.	A wet parade day but still a good time had by the Phillies.	Go Phillies! The season is officially underway.
Intense focus as the pitch is delivered.	A single to right center starts the rally.	The batter prepares to lay down a bunt.	The runners is called safe on a close play at the plate.
The pitch is delivered by one of the Giants Aces.	A triple is soon to follow!	Concentration: As he gets ready for this grounder.	The runner is gunned down from shortstop.
Who will win the race to the bag?	One foot may be in the bucket but the batter has her eye on the ball for this swing.	With a game ball in his glove and a concession stand ticket in his hand, it's no wonder he is smilin	Is this the follow-through on another homer?
